Forgotten Passage was formed in Northern California's gold country in 2009 from the nidus of singer/ songwriter/guitarist Jason Mathis and keyboardist/songwriter/vocalist Steve Bisel. Both were experienced musicians with a history in other bands, but were each looking for something more to satisfy their long-held dreams. With the addition of a rhythm section composed of bassist Luke Benton and Bryan Louton on drums and percussion, the band was ready to plot a new direction in sonic expression. Their first gig was held on February 2, 2010 at one of Sacramento's favorite pubs, Fox and Goose. It foreshadowed exactly what this band was capable of achieving, melding an eclectic mix of driving rhythms, infectious melodies and ethereal explorations into an exciting soundscape that both elevated the spirit and dove deep into the muse.
